Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for all Casect users. MFA includes SMS and e-mail verification. Multi-factor authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito, which provides class leading security and user access management.

User Verification

User verification is performed by Doximity. Doximity allows Casect to verify medical credentials, which allows for trusted sharing between users.

HIPAA Compliance

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is used to encrypt data in transit and at rest. Casect is aligned with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53, which are high security standards that comply with the HIPAA Security Rule.

User Payments

Payments are processed and stored by Stripe. Stripe offers best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security, certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.
